Qonvergence: the quantum consensus chain.
Quantum-inspired now. Quantum-native next. Quantum-safe by construction.
Introduction
Qonvergence is the quantum consensus chain. An L1 that uses quantum-inspired, and eventually quantum-native, algorithms for consensus, ordering, and finality, targeting throughput and deterministic finality that classical BFT cannot reach. Quantum-safe by construction. Launching on Virtuals (Base). Token $QORE.
The problem
Q-day moved up hard. A 2026 Google, Ethereum Foundation, and Stanford paper put breaking secp256k1, the curve under Bitcoin and Ethereum, at under 500K qubits in roughly 9 minutes. Citi estimates about $450B sits in already-exposed addresses.
And classical consensus hit its ceiling. Every leading chain squeezes the same BFT pipeline, bounded by the 1/3 fault limit. Funded quantum chains all do the same thing: post-quantum defense by signature migration, which costs throughput. A Solana PQ testnet ran roughly 90 percent slower.
How Qonvergence works
Classical algorithms borrowing primitives from quantum computing to break past the throughput plateau. Shippable on classical hardware.
Entanglement-based BFT. Published science shows quantum Byzantine agreement beating the classical 1/3 bound, toward 1/2.
Classical execution beside quantum-assisted critical paths as hardware matures.
PQ primitives in the base layer. No migration cliff. No signature retrofit tax.
Be precise. Quantum-inspired now, quantum-native on the roadmap. Quantum-native is lab-scale and is never presented as a live, shipped fact.
Where Qonvergence fits
Post-quantum is a patch. Quantum-native consensus is the next generation. Rivals bolt on quantum signatures and lose most of their throughput. We change the substrate.
No productized L1 holds quantum-inspired-for-performance, which is the whitespace. On post-quantum security we complement the defense crowd. Our edge is the offensive throughput substrate, not the signature scheme.
$QORE
- validate · Stake $QORE to run the quantum-inspired consensus and secure ordering and finality.
- transact · Pay for throughput and deterministic finality.
- govern · Steer the substrate from quantum-inspired toward quantum-native.
$QORE is a utility token for the Qonvergence network. Nothing here is financial advice.
